AA Twins…Kinda

Keith and I shared the same sobriety date, but it was 48 years apart. When I started coming to AA, Keith was a big part of keeping me sober in my first year. He was so excited that I got 12 months he made me a special bone dry 1 year chip and a bone dry travel mug. His sobriety was something to look up to, even after so many years, I noticed he always took time to help the new comer and was very active. He made me feel a part of, and that was something not many folks can do. I miss him now and will always miss him

  1. Keith was a great uncle and friend. He introduced me to the Virgin Islands which became my second home and serenity. I turned to Keith when I struggled with addiction and he was ALWAYS there for me when needed. His gratitude for finding the easier softer AA way shown through. He wore his sobriety as a badge of honor,,, wasn’t particularly “annonymous” about it. . He helped so many people. I was lucky to have him for an uncle. I will miss him greatly but find comfort in knowing he is back together with John❤️
